The Illusion of Having It All

I was born into a life that looked beautiful from the outside—good schools, abundance, and every opportunity to “succeed.” But I often felt something was missing. There was a quiet ache in my heart. A longing I didn’t know how to name.

I spent years searching outward. Trying to be everything for everyone. But no matter what I achieved, it never felt like enough.

A Wake-Up Call

Everything shifted when my mother had a stroke. I was only 20. Watching her rebuild her life piece by piece showed me the strength of the human spirit. It was also the beginning of my own healing—through yoga, meditation, and the tender discovery that there was more to life than I had ever been taught.

The Search for My True Self

This curiosity took me across the globe. I sought out healers, shamans, wisdom keepers—from Brazil to Australia, from the sacred Apus of Peru to Amma’s ashram in India. I immersed myself in rituals, plant medicine, and the ancient wisdom of cultures that understood something I had yet to learn: that true abundance is found within the heart.

Yet, even as I walked this path, I was navigating deep personal struggles--the aftermath of an unhappy marriage, the weight of unworthiness, and the limiting belief that I wasn't enough. I didn’t truly understand myself. 

Then, I was introduced to Human Design and learned I was a Manifesting Generator 2/4--meant to explore multiple passions. Yet for so long, I had believed I was scattered, lost. In reality, I was simply designed to evolve, to follow what lights me up, and to weave the many threads of my journey into something meaningful. 

Leaping into the Unknown

When my marriage ended, I took the greatest leap of my life: I left behind everything I knew in Miami and moved to Barcelona with my two kids. It was terrifying, but I knew I had something bigger to do in this world. 

In Barcelona, I reconnected with my inner child. I found healers, shamans, and teachers who reminded me of my essence. 

Ocean as my Temple

the sea became my sanctuary. In still moments by the shore, I began to hear my own heart. Its wisdom. Its rhythm. Its tenderness. I saw how nature holds us when we remember to slow down and feel.

Traveling the World

I traveled to India and received Amma’s blessing on my 41st birthday, as she whispered a sacred mantra in my ear and showered me with rose petals. In that moment, I felt unconditional love. 

In Bali, I saw joy in the eyes of those who had so little—yet they carried a happiness I had spent my life searching for. In India, I learned devotion. 

The people I met around the world opened my heart wider than I ever thought possible.

The Power of Egypt

Egypt became a place of profound transformation. I traveled there four times, each journey deepening my connection to the essence of my soul. I meditated in the Grand Pyramid, setting powerful intentions that would shape my future. 

It was there, in the land of the ancients, that A’OHE was born. The sacred rose alchemy elixir I work with today found its beginnings in the powerful frequencies of Egypt. The roses, their vibrations, their healing power—they are not just a product, but a reflection of the energy and love that I have felt in that sacred space. 

Egypt taught me to connect to the unseen, to trust in the mystery, and to honor the divine energies that flow through all things.

And then one day, a shaman looked me in the eyes and asked:

“Laura, who are you?”

That question changed everything.
